I was incredibly fortunate to be a scholar in kenyon reviews summer online Workshop in CNF with a magical (Truly) cohort and the Quantum-heart teachers Lars Horn, Melissa Faliveno, and Marcelo Hernandez Castillo. It was six days of generative awesomeness.

On one of my break walks I ran across this

possibly gay, very Loraxian tree.

Ive been meaning to add this update for a while! I was extraordinarily fortunate to have a developmental review of my manuscript for Atomic With Lidia yuknavitch. Her way of working is phenomenal and helped to broaden, concretize, and Kaleidoscope my approach even further. (Yes, all three at once!) She is brilliant and kind, and I highly recommend her!

AWP was super fun and i Newly met, Met in IRL, and Re-met Lots of awesome writers. The panels were all next-level and I wish I could have gone to ten times as many of them. (Yes, impossible.)

A few days after coming home i got news that Although i didn't get the kenyon Review Developmental Ed Fellowship I applied for, I was a finalist!

I'm so happy to announce I was chosen to take part in AWP's season 18 of Writer to writer mentorship program. My mentor was the awesome Lara Lillibridge, and i learned so much from her about submissions and the business of being a writer. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity!
